About Us

Mission Statement: To assist people with disabilities to live an integrated, quality life with dignity, respect, and independence.

The Independent Living Center of Northeast Kansas is a not-for-profit agency providing advocacy and support services to persons with disabilities and their families within the State of Kansas. The ILCNEK is funded in part by a grant through Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Private donations and other fee-for-service programs are additional funding sources for the ILCNEK.

Who Can Participate: Any individual with any type of disability expressing an interest can receive services from the ILCNEK. Services will only begin upon the request of the individual needing the services.
