Advocacy - The ILCNEK works toward improving accessibility to existing services and enhancing the right of individuals with disabilities to have their needs met.

Staff and consumers of the ILCNEK advocate at the Federal, State and local government levels to ensure the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities are met.

Accessibility Surveys - The ILCNEK offers technical assistance within the community by conducting accessibility surveys to allow others to become more accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Education - The ILCNEK offers businesses and other groups education on working with individuals of all different types of disabilities.

Durable Medical Equipment Loan - The ILCNEK offers an equipment loan program to provide medical equipment, when available, at no cost to those in need. Items available include such things as wheelchairs, bedside commodes, walkers and shower chairs.
