10,000,000 Pennies For ILCNEK
The Independent Living Center of Northeast Kansas, Inc. is working to raise 10-million pennies for our new Disability Center building.
What exactly is a Disability Center? The ILCNEK's Disability Center will be the central core place of operation for the ILCNEK with opportunities for individuals with disabilities or anyone else in the community to come and do volunteer work, develop peer relationships and work on developing advocacy and educational projects to be done throughout the community.
How can you help?... within the community there will be penny collection containers where you can drop a penny or two for our project or you can come by the ILCNEK at 521 Commercial, Suite C (by Radio Shack) and drop off your penny (or more if you like) in the office.
During the course of the year we will have different fund raising events in which everyone in the community is invited to participate.
With your pennies we will be able to have a good foundation to build upon for the future of all the community!
