The Independent Living Center of Northeast Kansas offers payroll services for HCBS Medicaid Waivers, the Senior Care Act, and for private contracts.
As a payroll agent the Independent Living Center of
Northeast Kansas:
Provides Personal Care Attendant (PCA) with an enrollment packet.
Provides timesheets and issues paychecks to Personal Care Attendants (PCAs).
Withholds all appropriate federal and state taxes.
Issues W-2 to PCA according to federal guidelines.
Retains database of PCA applicants for consumer use.
Persons who do not meet qualifications for the HCBS or
Senior Care Act programs may enter into a private
contract and receive the following added benefits in
addition to the service listed above.
Consumer sets pay rate.
Consumer may regulate how often an invoice is sent.
Invoice is sent with copies of timesheets included.
Consumer is billed for hours worked by PCA plus an administrative overhead which includes worker's compensation, unemployment insurance, and the employer's portion of Medicare and Social Security withholdings.
